Something about Me :-

Once during my childhood days, while enjoying just like any other kid, I met with a tragedy which completely changed my life, unaware never imagined that such incident will take place in my life. Nobody had control over it. At the age of 3, I met with an accident and lost both of my arms. This incident happened when I caught the transformer wire of 440 volts and my both arms were completely burnt & thus had to be imputed. But nothing ever stopped me from winning, I took this as a challenge & then my real journey began….
I know that God has something in his mind for me & that I have to find it out. The full support of the family member have encourage me in every field & made me a fighter. I completed my schooling in a normal school with normal children in a state Aizwal, Mizoram (North East).
After completing the studies I was bound to come out from the state, since there was no enough resources/facilities in Mizoram for higher studies to build the career & decided to move to Uttranchal to pursue studies.
Then I went to Uttranchal & decided to choose BBA to build career in Business development area where I joined one of the premier Institute,”Amrapali Institute of Management” in Haldwani, Nainital. Everything was on the track. I completed my 1st yr with good marks, but what can be done? If sometimes destiny doesn’t work. Due to some unavoidable circumstances I was not able to continue the studies & complete BBA degree course.
I came to Delhi for medical treatment. After 3 month I was totally fit but somewhere I was dis-hearted because I was missing the institute as well as the friends/teachers. At same period I get connected with IGKF (Indian Geneseiyu Karate-do Federation) and got interest in Karate and Taekwondo.
Along with my Karate training I joined Kuoni Academy & did integrated certification course of 1year. The subjects were Intl/Domestic ticketing, CRS, BSP & Tourism Mgt. affiliated by IATA & UFATA from Kuoni Academy. And also decided to do BTS (Bachelor in Tourism Studies) from IGNOU. Side by side I started keeping myself involved in other activities like dancing, singing, etc. I had performed many stage shows in all these activities.
I started performing shows for Amar Jyoti & also become the theatre actor of Asian Pacific Theatre. I have performed 3-4 shows for the theatre. The classical performance on Martial Arts was unbelievable & appreciated by everyone.
Though I started keeping myself fully packed, still I was not satisfied. My soul was restless, something is still missing. I got my satisfaction, when I connected myself with “NGO”. Non-Government-Organization & for me the meaning of NGO was totally different. I took NGO as "Nature Gives Opportunities” to serve your life for poor & needy people. And so “SAUREENA ASHREY” an opening of life was introduced as a NGO only & only to HELP bring SMILE & make HAPPY.
Presently working for Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC Ltd.) as PR Executive on contractual basis since Mar2007.
