Nimila Sasmitha starded athletics in 2014. He is a brilliant sri lankan upcoming athlete who specialized in 400m and 800m events. He holds two Sri lankan records.(** 400m new Sri Lankan record @ all island athletic championship 2018 & ** 800m new Sri lankan record @ all island athletic championship 2019**) He will be representing Sri lanka in upcomming asian championships .
