Bio

I started doing sport seriously in October 2005 thanks to my P.E teacher Tiina Hodakov. Tiina wasn't just a P.E teacher she is also a SUPER canoeing coach in small city called Pärnu in Estonia, and she asked me to join her new youth group. She had broken many record of being the best canoeing coach in Estonia and had, STILL HAS, some of the best canoeing athletes to supervise, that was the moment when I realized that I am going to dedicate quite big part of my life to canoeing. In 2008 I reached to the first gold medals in canoeing in my agegroup and in 2011 I won Estonian National Championships for the first time in 1000m distance and in the same year I started an international career.

Today as a member of Estonian Canoeing Team I train like "loco"! Most of the time I can be seen on river of Pärnu if I am not in the camp somewhere in the south. In winter time I do a lot of skiing, swimming, running and gym sessions. During hard training weeks I have up to 12 separate trainings with duration up to 24 hours and that is the reason why I have a good stamina and not bad strength indicators at all - result from canoeing and skiing are the clear evidence.

What is my goal? Of course Olympic Games, maybe Rio, but Tokyo for sure!
