I first picked up boxing at the age of 16. I progressed quickly through the amateur ranks, and was National Champion from 2006 to 2009. As a national athlete, I traveled overseas and represented the country in various competitions. I continued fighting as an amateur boxer up until 2012, where career choices and injuries had me retire from the sport. Throughout my journeys as an amateur, I gained invaluable experience and made plenty of friends from all over the world. Even though I was retired, I never lost sight of the sport that has given me so much and shaped the person that I am. Fast forward to 2016, when the professional boxing scene was growing rapidly in Singapore. I decided to give it a second chance, as fighting professionally has always been a dream of mine. To pursue that dream, I sacrificed a good salary and a comfortable life, started working in a gym, and worked out 4 to 6 hours a day, 6 days a week to get back into shape. I had my first professional fight in February of 2017 and had my arms raised for the first time in 5 years. As a professional boxer, I currently have a record of 2 wins, 0 losses, with 1 win by knockout. I plan to further my career, and hopefully one day get to the top. First conquer the region, and then the world.
