Bio

When I first started track and field I was 8 years old, but it was my brother who wanted me to compete for candy by running against the fastest girls when I was in the 1st grade. After wining my first pick of candy at age 6, my brother encouraged me to continue in the sport, so when I finally decided to run track, I started running for the hardware. As a junior and throughout college, I competed in the sprints and hurdles events. After college (2014), my coach decided that we try the heptathlon. I am very weak in the throwing and jumping events but I hope to improve my marks by 2020. It is my dream to compete for Jamaica in the women's heptathlon, break the national record, and ultimately cap a medal at the Olympics.
